Customer highlight

“Before TixFlo, we ran the gate with a cash box and Cash App, and our concession lines got long on big nights. Now families can buy tickets on their phones and order food from the bleachers with OrderUp. It’s made the gate and the concession stand so much easier.”
Why TixFlo is a better operational fit for youth football and cheer associations, conferences, jamborees, and bowl games.
The best ticketing platform is not just the one with the longest feature list. It is the one that protects revenue, makes checkout clear, and helps staff run the door without confusion.

GoFan’s published fan fee is $1 per ticket up to $10 ($1 + 5% per ticket above $10), with card fees included. TixFlo is $0.50 per ticket plus 2.9% + 30¢ card processing, charged once per order. Change the numbers to match your games.

What your gate volunteers use
The free Game Day app runs on the volunteers’ own phones. No scanners or card readers to buy.

Built for back-to-back game days
A youth football Saturday can run from the first flag game in the morning to the oldest division under the lights. Families come and go all day, and the gate is usually a folding table run by whichever parents are free.
With TixFlo, most families buy before they arrive and walk up with a QR ticket on their phone. Volunteers scan with the Game Day app on their own phones, so the line moves and nobody has to keep a tally on paper.
From a cash box and Cash App to one record
Many associations still run the gate with a cash box and a payment app on someone’s personal phone. It works until the end of the night, when the treasurer has to match cash counts and screenshots to figure out what each game made.
Online ticket sales go straight to the association’s own Square or Stripe account, tied to the game they were for. You can keep taking cash for families who need it, and still have a clean record of everything sold online.
Concessions without the halftime line
The snack stand is often a youth football association’s second-biggest fundraiser, and the line is longest exactly when people want to be watching. OrderUp lets fans scan a QR code, order and pay from the bleachers, and get a text or email when their order is ready to pick up.
Volunteers work from a live order board on a tablet and hand orders out at the window. The stand keeps the full menu price, and fans pay $0.60 per order however many items they buy.
Where TixFlo improves the event day experience.
Lower fees for families
Card processing once per order means a family of four pays about $2.97 in fees on $5 tickets instead of $4.00.
Faster gate lines
Families arrive with QR tickets and volunteers scan them in from their own phones.
Shorter concession lines
OrderUp moves ordering to the bleachers, so the window only hands out food.
Questions about choosing TixFlo.
Can we still take cash at the gate?
Yes. Many families still pay cash, and you can keep a cash option. Cash sales recorded in the Game Day app carry no TixFlo fee.
Our conference uses GoFan. Can we still use TixFlo?
If your conference requires GoFan for its games, follow that for those games. You can still use TixFlo for events your association runs itself, like jamborees you host, banquets, camps and fundraisers.
Do volunteers need special equipment?
No. The free Game Day app runs on the volunteers’ own iPhone or Android phones.
Can we use it for cheer competitions and banquets too?
Yes. Any event with paid admission can have its own event page, ticket types and QR tickets.
